Well, there are 5 days to go before we jump on a jet plane and head to paradise.
So, the plan……
17 people, 13 days, one massive party…The Full Moon Party in Koh Phangan. This is a party held every month to celebrate the full moon…a massive beach party with 10,000-20,000 people partying to many different DJ’s till sunrise.
Why am I going? Well, its been a roller coaster of a year, and an oportunistic MSN chat with my buddy Dave, mentioning that I needed a holiday, but didnt really want to go away alone, ended up in an invite with all his mates to a kick ass party in a hidden paradise (what a mouthfull)…..I figured I had nothing to loose, only a fantastic experience and some awesome stories to gain.
So, its been a busy couple of weeks getting everything organised, the flights, accomodation, transfers, shopping for bits and peices, but now its all done and now we wait. I needed a camera and a new iPod, well I didnt really need a new iPod, but thought the extra space would let me cram a few more songs and a couple of movies on for the looooong trip. Thanks to Aleisha’s abundance of ‘acquired’ music , I have a good selection of tunes to keep myself amused….thanks sweetie!
The flight leaves at 3:15am Saturday morning and we fly to Brunei, then to Bangkok, where we will spend a couple of days. We leave Bangkok on Monday 8th and fly to Koh Samui, where I think we catch a ferry to Koh Phangan.
I have never put a Blog together before, so thought I would give it a try, I will see how diciplined I can be at documenting my travels, I suck at documenting, so this will be interesting. I guess everything starts with intention!
So, this is my first entry…lets see how I go.
